maritima - Sea Squill. Scape 70-150 cm, only produced in hot, dry situations (for the skilled gardener!) White, starry flowers, 1-1.5 cm in diameter, with a brownish line along the center, many produced on a long raceme. Leaves elliptic-lanceolate, 4-8 cm wide, appearing after flowering in autumn. Zones 9-11.
