'Aaron Davis', has revealed its confused taxonomic status
in the excellent monograph The Genus Galanthus, p.165/169.
Foliage supervolute, deep green. Inner segments with narrow
green markings at apex only. Best treated as a woodland plant
in the garden. It prefers a porous, humus-rich soil. If the
soil remains cool in summer and some moisture is available
it will do well. Ht. 15-20 cm. Zones 4-8.  |
